alnocnadr Dell is a computer manufacture and distributer based out of Round Rock, Texas USA. It is well known for building reasonably priced computer systems for both home consumers and businesses, and is the current market leader based on volume of units sold[1]. Until late 2006 it was the only major computer manufacturer in the United States that did not use AMD products.

Dell was founded in 1984 by Micheal Dell, who is the current Chairman of Dell Inc..

Dell is well know for their "Dell Dude" named "Steven" who appeared in numerous Dell television commercials and print ads during the late 1990s. Dell acquired Alienware in March of 2006.
