The Geforce 256 codename NV10 brought about a computing revolution overnight. NVIDIA coined it the worlds first GPU and rightly So. The card came in two flavors the SDRAM and DDR. It was the first consumer 3d card to support DriectX 7 and Hardware TnL. The core unlike the older TNT2 had a 4x1 configuration giving it nearly double the filerate of its imediate predecessor.
