trcvarbo Series 3 PowerVR chip, aimed to battle the Geforce 2 MX which it did very well. It was semi successful on the PC market though is mostly know as the engine behind Sega's Dreamcast. Its main success was thanks to a unique technology called Tile Based Rendering.
