Socket 423

cdellizelall trtrocr Socket 423 was a short lived socket that supported Intel's early Pentium 4 processors. It was quickly replaced by Socket 478. Intel only produced processors for Socket 423 for less then a year, from November 2000 to August 2001.

A popular CPU core on Socket 423, was the Willamette.
